In Bloom – The newest addition to Atelier Choux print family

The latest addition to Atelier Choux’s collection of wonderful whimsical prints is the Chinoiserie inspired In Bloom. Following in the Atelier Choux tradition of finding inspiration in architecture, nature and history, this delightful design brings the 17th century European interpretation of Chinese and East Asian artistic traditions of design and decoration into the 21st century. Taking inspiration from French verdure tapestries which typically featured forests, woodlands and rich foliage adorned with wildlife, the charming In Bloom print depicts exotic blossoms and colourful fruit trees. Deer, dogs and birds, were also often featured. In the print we see butterflies and fanciful birds nestle amongst the branches, while an iconic stalk, adorable rabbit and relaxing deer seek shade under the tree trunks.

The In Bloom carré is currently available in two colors – Morning Dew and Pink Sunset. The print will be expanded to clothing, bedding and ceramics, each designed to inspire babies, children and adults alike.
