ATELIER CHOUX GRENELLE: a new showcase of French elegance
ATELIER CHOUX GRENELLE: a new showcase of French elegance

Following the success of its first boutique in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood, Atelier Choux continues its expansion with an exceptional new address at 82 rue de Grenelle, in the heart of the 7th arrondissement in Paris. The inspired by the brand founders' passion for Enlightenment style and French craftsmanship, this space offers immersion in the enchanting world of the Maison.

WONDERFUL RENAISSANCE
WONDERFUL RENAISSANCE

The front window, a vast display topped by a brass sign with striking lettering, immediately catches the eye. An elegant handle in the shape of a hot-air balloon – the brand's emblem – invites you to cross the threshold and discover the warm, fairytale atmosphere of Atelier Choux.

Upon entering, visitors are immersed in the timeless charm of a splendid Parisian apartment. In contrast to the baroque style of the first address, this new space draws its inspiration from French architecture and the decorative arts from the Renaissance to the 19th century. On the walls, some thirty panels of hand-carved woodwork, gilded with gold leaf, reproduce the brand's designs.

These panels are enhanced by refined moldings, a ceiling painted with subtle clouds, a restored Versailles parquet floor, and a period chandelier in crystal and gilded bronze.

This new showcase also features a subtle balance between tradition and modernity. The polished brass furniture, crafted by French cabinetmakers in the form of the founders' sketches, contrasts with the splendor of the classical decorations.

TREASURES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
TREASURES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

The first room, bathed in light, showcases the Maison's iconic creations. The collection of 20 Carrés (printed swaddles) is displayed on a majestic rotating display made of ornate brass. Next to it, gift boxes stand alongside decorative cushions, the brand-new changing bags in jacquard fabric and leather, and gold-leafed stationery sets. Opposite, you'll discover a selection of bedding (soft comforters, fitted sheets and cashmere blankets), a selection of bibs on small busts and other accessories for toddlers.

As you move into the second room, notice the radiators with cut brass covers which echo the Maison's designs. This is a more intimate feeling lounge, where two bonheur du jour (small writing desks), sourced by the founders and then carefully restored, serve as a showcase for a refined selection of decorative objects, particularly for festive events. These include cake decorations, matching tablecloths and napkins, gold-leaf tattoos, rolls of wrapping paper, and wall stickers to decorate a child's bedroom.
